Q&A

• When?

  November 6^th, 2021, before sunset. The cocktail hour starts at 5 PM. If you arrive early, there are many beautiful views for walking and taking pictures (I don’t recommend selfie though). Or just sit down at the bar, enjoy your coffee and think about the meaning of life.

• Drink?

  We don’t think they will have boba milk tea or chè ba màu at the bar. But I’m pretty much sure that there will be alcohol and non-alcohol drinks.

• Food?

  The food is non-vegetarian friendly. But we love you and will try to make you happy. Please put a note on the RSVP if you want a vegetarian option. (Maybe mushroom five cheese pizza with cheetos topping 😀 Of course it’s jk. You know we love you. - After all this time? - Yup, always).

• How about children?

  Children are very welcome. And we have children-friendly-but-not-sure-if-it’s-healthy-meal for the little ones.

• Indoor or outdoor?

  We will enjoy the fresh air of the Avalon Terrace before sunset, then have the warmest celebration in the Avalon Ballroom.

• How is the weather?

  Nov is no longer summer, and it’s not winter yet. But who knows the weather.

The Venue

Park Hyatt Aviara is located north of San Diego, in the coastal community of Carlsbad. It takes about 40 minutes of driving from downtown San Diego or 1 hour 10 minutes from Anaheim. During the lockdown of COVID-19 in 2020, the resort has gone through a completed renovation. As such, we got a lovely new ballroom. (But, on the flip side, the resort is already sold out for the weekend of our wedding, only that weekend for the rest of the year 😞. UPDATE: The resort is now available for reservation on Nov 6^th 😀).
